The Makita 18 Volt LXT® cordless string trimmer kit contains XRU23Z 18 Volt LXT® brushless 13 Inch string trimmer, 191R00-0 rapid load bump and feed trimmer head, BL1840B 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 4 Amp-hour battery, DC18SD 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion charger. Trimmer features BL™ brushless motor that delivers up to 6,000 RPM, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. This trimmer with reduced maintenance delivers zero emissions and lower noise. It has high/low button for power and run time management whereas variable speed trigger for controlled cutting speed. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger. Battery assures up to 1 hour of run time using 18 Volt LXT® battery. Trimmer featured with Star Protection Computer Controls™, allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time. This Star Protection communication technology also monitors condition while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging and overheating. Rapid load bump and feed trimmer head allows to load line in seconds with 3 easy steps. Tool has Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) that helps to deliver increased dust and water resistance in harsh job site conditions.
